The launch of the RAVO E2 in the UK is three years in the making – with research, development and customer feedback at its core. The RAVO E2 is not simply a sweeper that has been converted from its diesel counterpart. The born electric E2 might look like the RAVO R2 from the outside but the internal workings and concept of the machine are truly unique. Every available kW has been utilized to efficiently deliver exceptional performance and optimise battery autonomy, while also ensuring reliability and durability. But how does this benefit our customers?
Increased operational ability. The E2 features 6 tailored e-motors to independently power the sweeper’s functions: drive train, suction fan, hydraulic pump (steering, braking etc.), left brush, right brush, and third brush. Each of these motors is independently controlled and used only when required. So, there is no need for a pump to be constantly running to power, or cool, the hydraulics. This results in a dramatic reduction of energy consumption – a vital commodity for an electric vehicle.
Round-the-clock operation. In less than two minutes, the battery pack of the sweeper can be easily changed for a freshly charged one, making the E2 capable of running single, double, or even triple shifts - enabling round-the-clock green sweeping. The patented swappable battery system also removes the requirement of fast charging; slower AC charging better preserves the battery’s State of Health (SoH), extending its lifespan.
For every operator. The E2 also features several truly game-changing software developments to enhance the battery autonomy and the experience of the operator. A smart ‘econometre’ displays live kW consumption while the sweeper performs different tasks, allowing operators to learn with the machine and improve their driving and operating behaviours to achieve even greater battery autonomy. This innovation is coupled with smart, targetted heating controls and a sleep mode to optimse energy even further.

The RAVO E2 is the pinnacle of product design, featuring a number of patented innovations that revolutionize the capabilities of the electric compact sweeper.
Operators can exchange the E2's battery for a freshly charged one at the end of a shift, providing greater flexibility for workload organization. This removes range anxiety and extends battery life by removing the need for fast charging.
When you stop while working (for example, at a red light), the E2 automatically stops sweeping and halts the delivery of water to the water jets this saves energy and water to extend on station time.
This system saves energy by only delivering power when necessary. Oil flow is managed by the speed of our electric motor, meaning there no loss of power thanks to hydraulic flow regulation valves.
The brand new suction system reduces power losses by increasing coverage of the road surface and the E2s specially selected fan delivers excellent vacuum performance.
