The Scarab Operator Instruction Course is designed to encompass all aspects of machine operation to help an operator get to know their road sweeper. While sweeping may appear to be a simple operation, in truth the modern sweeper is a complex mix of hydraulics, electronics and mechanical components requiring guidance to ensure an operator gets the most out of their machine.
Our one-day course is designed to take place at the premises of the operator, with their own equipment, to ensure they get âhands-onâ experience with their sweeper. The exact time taken to complete the instruction course will vary depending on the aptitude of the selected candidate.
Upon completion, the operator is endorsed with a Scarab Operator checklist that is signed by the candidate stating that he/she fully understands the requirements expected of them when operating the machine.
The Scarab 'Train the Trainer' Instruction Course is designed to refresh Scarab operators with up-to-date product information and suitably equip them with the knowledge required to deliver training to other operatives within their company.
Trainees must have undertaken Operator Training prior to applying for this course.
Our one-day session is designed to take place at the premises of the trainer, with their own equipment, to ensure they have the required knowledge to team others how to use the machine.
Upon completion, the operator is endorsed with a Scarab Trainer checklist that is signed by the candidate stating that he/she fully understands the requirements expected of them when operating the machine.
Our Technical Training Courses take place over 1 to 3 days â dependant on the machine/model â and are designed for competent service technicians who have a working knowlÂedge of hydraulic and electrical services. By the end of the course, a participant will be equipped with the skills and confidence required to correctly service, adjust and repair a Scarab product.
Delegates completing this course will gain a full underÂstanding of the controls and correct operation of the machine, set-up and fault diagnosis of sweeping equipÂment, operation of the CANbus system, safety awareness and safe working practices.
All our engineers undergo a minimum of 40 hours of training each year to ensure they are best qualified to instruct others. Whatâs more, by ensuring each of our sessions are limited to a maximum of eight delegates, we are confident that our Technical Training team is able to offer guidance of the highest quality to all course participants.
