One Giant Leap for Canenco: New All-Electric RAVO E2 Delivers Next-Generation Sweeping and Scrubbing Capability

Canterbury Environmental Company (Canenco) has strengthened its street cleansing capabilities with the delivery of a brand-new RAVO E2 all-electric compact sweeper, complete with a Scrub Deck attachment, to support the organisation's commitment to maintaining clean and safe public spaces.

The revolutionary RAVO E2 will be used by Canenco’s Street Cleansing team as they handle everything from sweeping cobbled streets and pavements to operating deep-cleansing applications, including removing chewing gum. This all-electric compact sweeper has been recognised by a series of international awards for its innovative approach to electrification, and the addition of this brand-new sweeper to Canenco’s street cleansing fleet will help the company meet their net-zero targets.

All-Electric Performance for All Applications

Combining the proven sweeping performance of the RAVO platform with a fully electric drivetrain, the RAVO E2 offers a powerful alternative to conventional diesel-powered sweepers. With zero tailpipe emissions, significantly reduced noise levels and exceptional operational efficiency, the vehicle is ideally suited to busy urban environments, pedestrian areas and high-footfall public spaces. Designed from the ground up as a fully electric machine, the RAVO E2 delivers a full working shift on a single charge while maintaining the suction performance, manoeuvrability and reliability expected from a compact sweeper supplied by Scarab.

The RAVO E2, supplied with a flexible configuration, has been purchased with a Scrub Deck front tool to help the Caneco team tackle detailed cleaning of a wide range of surfaces and combat areas where chewing gum has been littered. This front tool is an innovative brushing and scouring unit comprising of 3 brushes - this allows operators to renovate any type of porous or smooth floor. Thanks to its integrated detergent tank, fitted with a precise dosing system, the system has been designed to leave a clean surface in its wake.

Speaking on the addition to the fleet, David Maidman – Managing Director of Canenco – comments: “We had a demonstration of the machine and the primary reason [for procuring this sweeper] was because of the flexibility offered by the Scrub Deck. This is a dual-purpose machine that can support our applications.”

This unit has been delivered and will be hitting the streets in the coming weeks.
