Lift Off! Brand New Heavy Duty Sweeper, the SCARAB T7, Unveiled at UTAC Millbrook

SCARAB proudly unveiled its latest innovation, the SCARAB T7, during an exclusive launch event held on Thursday 29 January 2026 at UTAC Millbrook - one of the UK’s premier proving grounds, renowned for enabling hands‑on vehicle demonstrations and advanced product showcases.

The event brought together industry partners, fleet operators, rental houses, technical specialists, chassis suppliers and media representatives for the first public showcase of the T7, SCARAB’s newest heavy‑duty twin‑engine road sweeper designed to set a new benchmark in performance, durability, and operator-focused control.

The event provided a unique opportunity for industry professionals to network, enjoy a series of presentations about SCARAB, the Fayat Group and the all-new, T7 sweeper. The event also featured guided walkarounds, product demonstrations and the product ‘launch’ – in the form of a full firework display.

Speaking on the event, SCARAB’s Marketing Manager, Callum Huthwaite comments: “An event of this scale is somewhat unique in our industry. When a product pushes the boundaries of innovation in a manner that the T7 does, the event has to match! On behalf of the SCARAB team, I would like to thank the 130+ people that attended this landmark celebration of road sweeping excellence”.

Performance You Can See

The SCARAB T7 introduces a bold step forward in sweeping technology, engineered for demanding environments from road planing and surface dressing to large‑scale highway and construction operations. Powered by a 105 kW Deutz Stage V auxiliary engine, paired with SCARAB’s proven airflow path and high‑speed fan, the T7 delivers exceptional suction capability and outstanding first‑pass performance across all applications.

Its global versatility is further enhanced by compatibility with a wide range of 15–18 tonne GVW chassis and options for skid‑mounted configurations, enabling local installation anywhere worldwide.

Rob Sands, SCARAB’s UK Commercial Manager, adds: “The T7 represents the next evolution of SCARAB’s commitment to performance, strength, and operator‑focused design. We are proud to begin 2026 with a machine that truly leaves nothing behind, both on the road and in terms of engineering excellence.”

What’s Next for the SCARAB T7?

The demonstration program for the T7 will kick-off on March 2, 2026 with a full program planned into the summer. The product will also be on display at some of the UK’s leading exhibitions including ScotPlant in Edinburgh (24-25 April) and Hillhead in Buxton (23-25 June).

For customers across Europe, the T7 will be presented at IFAT in Munich (4-7 May, presented alongside our sister company, RAVO) and at TECMA in Madrid (9-11 June, in support of our longstanding dealer, SVAT).
