Visie Communications and Scarab Sweepers UK have announced that £1,150.00 was raised for the Lighthouse Construction Charity at the Fleet Vision International Awards and Gala Dinner.
The event, held on 23 April at the Dutch Hall in London, brought together senior representatives from across the fleet, transport, infrastructure and municipal sectors for an evening of celebration, recognition and industry networking.
The charity raffle was supported by Scarab Sweepers UK, Charity Sponsor for the evening, with all proceeds donated to the Lighthouse Construction Charity.
The Lighthouse Construction Charity provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to workers across the construction sector and their families. Its work is closely aligned with the values of the specialist fleet and infrastructure sectors, where safety, wellbeing and support for frontline workers remain central priorities.
FVI Events Director Ann-Marie Knegt said: ‘We would like to thank our longstanding partner Scarab Sweepers UK for its generous donations towards the charity raffle on the evening, and for its continued support for our events.
‘Scarab could not have chosen a more suitable charity, one that closely aligns with our shared goals of improving safety, wellbeing and support across the industry. We hope this donation will help improve the lives of people working across the construction sector.
‘We would also like to thank all our guests and everyone who donated on the evening. The money has now been deposited into the Lighthouse Construction Charity’s bank account, and we look forward to future charity endeavours with Scarab.’
Marketing Manager for Scarab Sweepers, Callum Huthwaite adds: "We are delighted to have supported Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity at the FVI Awards. The charity carries out vital work across our sector, providing emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to those who keep our industry moving.”
“Events such as these are a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the resources available and highlight the importance of wellbeing within the sectors we serve. We would also like to thank the FVI team and everyone who contributed to helping us shine a spotlight on this incredibly important cause."
The Fleet Vision International Awards and Gala Dinner followed Fleet Vision International – THE SHOW, which took place earlier the same day at the Guildhall in the City of London.
