Scarab will be showing at the Renault Trucks Stand (outside area 100)

The latest Scarab Merlin hydrostatic heavy duty suction road sweeper, with a 6.2 cubic metre hopper constructed from all corrosion and abrasion steel. The unit being exhibited features dual sweep with the facility to allow sweeping width up to 2950mm - full high pressure wash system with stainless steel front spray bar, auto hose reel and hand lance and the unique ability to be able to sweep and wash simutaneously - each brush fitted with lift and down pressure.

Standard Scarab features include the market leading full Scarab CANbus system incorporating simplification of otherwise complex wiring looms and the latest ergonomic slim line in cab easy touch panel for ease of operation.

The Scarab Merlin mounted on the Renault Midlum 220 12 tonne GVW Euro 4 chassis offers an outstanding payload, circa 6000 kgs.

Scarab Sweepers are also available on Renault Midlum 15/16 tonne GVW chassis as Scarab Magnum hydrostatic or the Scarab Mistral and also on larger selected chassis from the Renault Premiere range.

Rising above all others on the Somers Totalkare Stand (outside area 194) will be another Scarab Sweeper - The Scarab Minor Euro 4 Compact Urban/Precinct sweeper that offers unrivalled productivity and performance that includes heavy duty sweeping and precinct sweeping duties, including the facility for hand loading refuse from bins etc and even street washing if required. Built on a custom chassis with 40mph travel speed and GVW up to 4.2 tonnes the Scarab Minor gives more flexibility than any other in its class.
