Scarab Quintet to “play” in Madeira

Sweeping for the Municipal Authorities on the island of Madeira has already proven to be “childs play” with their existing Scarab sweepers, so much so that a further 5 more Scarab Merlin “XP” Hydrostatic sweeper systems mounted on Mercedes Benz chassis are ready to go into service.

The Scarab/ Mercedes Benz sweeper combination, with a 5.5 cubic metre body capacity returns excellent unrivalled payloads within legal limits, and has given superb performance and productivity.

The proven Scarab hydrostatic drive system’s (deleting the requirement of an auxiliary engine) ensures the operating Authorities in Madeira are continuing to minimise exhaust pollution, seen as an important part of their overall aim of reducing all pollution throughout the island.
