Mobile/Field Service Engineers - North London Area & Bridgewater/Taunton Area
Circ £22,000 + allowances and overtime + Company Van + Benefits         

Strengthening our team of Mobile Service Engineers, you will cover a substantial territory, with responsibility for delivering first class post sales customer service and technical support. First and foremost, you will bring outstanding technical and engineering skills, but you’ll also need to be a strong relationship builder with real commercial acumen and a very professional approach – enabling you to tackle everything from servicing and warranty work to complex diagnostics and fault finding.

Ideally a time served apprentice with a comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics, you will join us from an Agricultural, HGV, Heavy Plant, Fork Lift or refuse vehicles background, and will possess your own comprehensive toolkit. Flexible, self-motivated and single-minded, you will be capable of undertaking your own administration, managing your time effectively and consistently exceeding customer expectations to ensure repeat business.

Paint and Preparation Operator. 39 hours per week. £9.72 + regular overtime premiums

This post will be responsible for the preparation and painting of small and large components. The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply the correct methods and stages of surface preparation, masking and painting of commercial vehicles to a good standard.
Previous experience is preferred.

Assembly Fitter. 39 hours per week. £9.72 p.h  + regular overtime premiums.

We are looking for a fitter with knowledge of and hands-on working experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and electronic systems, and that can interpret technical specifications from drawings.

Historically, we have found that the people who are best suited to the type of work that we do come to us with a background in either Agricultural, HGV, Heavy Plant, Fork Lift, Refuse Vehicles or similar.

Fabricator/Welder, 39Hours per week. £10.14 + regular overtime premiums.

RJP Engineering functions as a company within Scarab Sweepers Ltd and solely supply the fabricated sheet metal for the construction of all our sweepers. We are currently looking for Fabricator/Welders, to weld and fabricate mild and stainless steel.

Fabrication shop experience and the ability to work from engineering drawings are essential.
