Rosmech (Pty), Scarab Sweepers distributor for Australia confirmed another order, this time for the Gold Coast City Council  in Queensland for the supply of a further two truck mounted heavy duty road sweepers, to be assembled in Rosmech’s facilities in Adelaide onto Nissan/UD MK 240 chassis, to join other Scarab Merlin’s already in operation with the local authority.

The Gold Coast City Council have also ordered three DUAL SWEEP Scarab Minor Hydrostatic Compact urban/Precinct sweepers. This will be the first time operators will have the chance to see DUAL SWEEP Scarab Minor’s in Australia.

Mike Trace, Rosmech’s local agent for the Queensland, confirmed that the Gold Coast City Council were already well familiar with the Scarab Minors unrivalled sweeping ability as a “single” sweep system, having been operating Scarab Minors for the last 10 years and more.

The standard Scarab Minor has already “4 brushes” , steel tined channel brush to the near-side, two front polypropylene brushes and a wide sweep polypropylene brush - “The addition of a further offside channel brush and suction box will make the Scarab Minor truly the most versatile road sweeper available” added Mike.
