Commercial Vehicle and Automotive Trade Show ("The CV Show") at the NEC Exhibition Centre Birmingham UK from 25 - 27th April 2006 was the scene for the introduction of the latest Euro IV chassis by leading chassis manufacturers alongside exhibitors of the latest technology and componentry related to commercial vehicles and bodybuilders.

With the emphasis on reducing fuel consumption and reducing exhaust emissions to achieve less polution and combat `Global Warming`, it was no suprise to see Scarab Heavy Duty Sweepers featuring on various manufacturers stands.

Standing head and shoulders above all the exhibits was a Scarab Merlin Unidrive (courtesy of Salford City Council) on the Somers Lifts Stand 5230. Somers Lifts have been found invaluable by Scarab Distributors including McCreath Taylor of Lisburn (NI), for regular servicing on their general hire fleet and contract maintenance programmes.

Also exhibited on the DAF stand was a Scarab Mistral loaned by Eastleigh Borough Council. The Scarab Magnum also features on the new DAF Municipal Chassis Range brochure.

Gullivers Self Drive Limited endorsed their ability to supply most vehicles `made to measure` to suit long and sort term contract, amongst their exhibits was a large 6 x 4 tractor unit and a 6 x 4 refuse collection vehicle. Featured on their hospitality suit of course was a Scarab Merlin Hydrostatic.
